We are a not-for-profit organization with a volunteer board consisting of directors and officers. With input from our members, our directors and officers oversee the direction and finances of our guild guided by our policies, procedures and by-laws. All current members have a say in the direction of our group and vote at general meetings. Our policies and procedure bylaws guide our decision making process
The Board of Directors:
Ensure the purposes of the Guild are properly carried out.
Set the Guild’s long-range objectives and strategic plans.
Are responsible for all aspects of the Guild’s operations.
Ensure the Guild’s financial stability.
Establish Board Committees
Each Director serves for a two year term.
A Guild Officer is a member of the Guild’s management team who is approved by the
Membership and reports to the Board of Directors.
Officers of the Guild include the Chair of the Board (who also serves as Guild President),
Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, Secretary, and Chairs of the Key Standing Committees
as named in the Operations Manual.
