We regularly offer weaving and spinning courses as well as half-day scarf workshops at the Guild. All of our classes are available to the public and our members. To maximize learning, we limit enrolment to six students per class and provide looms or spinning wheels to all participants as noted below. All classes are held at the Guild Studio, 161 Stirling Ave. South, Kitchener, ON.

As well, our classes tend to be very popular and space in them fills up rather quickly. Enrollment in the class is based upon first come; first served when enrollment opens.
During the sign up process, if a class is full, you may add your name to the waiting list for the class.
The payment for your class is due immediately upon online sign up.
If you have not paid within 10 minutes, your seats in the class will be reallocated to others.
Attendance in a class will not be allowed if there is an outstanding balance owed to KWWS Guild.
KWWS utilizes Square for it's payment system. Square allows you to securely pay by Credit Card. KWWS does not see or store any personal payment information.
After you select the course and fill in your details, you will be taken to a Square payment page that is outside of the KWWS Web site. After payment, you will receive a receipt from Square for your payment as well as a receipt from KWWS with your class info. Please bring both to your first class.
We are unable to refund the full price of the class. We require a non-refundable deposit of $50 to secure a place in the course. This fee covers administration of finding a replacement so the class can continue to run. Only if a class has been cancelled by KWWS, a full refund will be issued.
Unfortunately, looms must be used in our studio. However, if more time is needed to complete your project, please speak to your instructor about the possiblity of arranging extra weaving time.

Yes, however if it is an antique/vintage flax wheel, you may want to use our supplied spinning wheels for the first little while. Those antiques, while we love them, spin fast. Very fast!
Each class has a minimum number of students that are required to be signed up prior to the class running. If we are unable to fill the minimum number of spots by the class deadline, we may cancel the class. A full refund will be available to all who have signed up and paid for the class.
Yes, as a member of the KWWS Guild, you are entitled to a discount on most courses offered by the Guild. However, you must sign up for your class using the Members Intranet Class Signup Page to get your discount.
